ˇ@In recognition of BroadLearningˇ¦s
sustainable commitment in good corporate citizenship, BroadLearning
was granted the Caring Company 5-Year Award
by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service. The Council has
over 300 non-governmental organizations (NGO) providing over
90% of the social welfare services in Hong Kong. Being a company
of IT in education, BroadLearning has been promoting the use
of IT not only in the corporate sector, but also in the vulnerable
groups to uplift their IT standards so as to bridge the digital
gap in the community.
ˇ@BroadLearning has been developing partnership projects with
social service sector and sharing business expertise with social
service organizations. In order to foster a responsibility among
its staff to work towards the betterment of the society, BroadLearning
supports staffˇ¦s participation in various meaningful activities
in the community. Its staff has as well set up a voluntary Social
Service Team. In the past few years, with passion and mission,
the team has been organizing workshops and events for vulnerable
group of people with the social service organizations it partnered
with.
