In order to help young people experience the fairy tales of Hans Andersen from another perspective, BroadLearning has organized an Inter-school Short Movies Competition in Hong Kong. Our co-organizer, Hong Kong Dance Company (香港舞蹈團) will help to conduct part of the seminars and workshops*. The meanings of Christian Andersen's stories will be conveyed and discussed through interactive activities. In addition, all participants will learn about a range of skills involved in the performance, including the skills of rewriting the scripts, acting, dancing, film shooting, movie editing, etc.

　　BroadLearning has also invited Ms Law Kwun Lan(羅冠蘭小姐), a former Principal Actor of Hong Kong Repertory Theatre(香港話劇團), and the consultant of TVB's Artist Training Programme, to be one of the honorable speakers in these seminars.

　　Prior to this programme, BroadLearning has supported the King of Fairy Tales, a dance drama performed by Hong Kong Dance Company. The dance drama featuring the stories of the Ugly Duckling, the Old Bachelor's Nightcap, the Brave Tin Soldier, Snow Man, and the Emperor's New Suit, was well received and full house.
