The Future Classroom Scheme was initiated by Intel
Semiconductor Limited together with BroadLearning. The scheme
was highly supported by Information Technology Association of
Macau and Open Source Software Association. This Future Classroom
Scheme has as well become the promotional projects of both parties.
The Future Classroom Scheme aims to enlighten the educational
circle with all the possibilities of the Internet and the information
technology, and show how the solution can strengthen the school
administration and raise the effectiveness of the management.

eClass, the second year being awarded the best
solutions by the Editorsˇ¦ Choice of Linux Pilot, the first Chinese
enterprise magazine of Linux in Asia.
In the past, the adoption of Linux in education industry was
mostly at the level of the use of servers only. With the introduction
of eClass, BroadLearning has made the Linux application possible
in educational solutions. Nowadays, a large number of academic
institutions and schools have enjoyed the advantage of Linux.
The wide adoption of the solutions is evident in the rapid growth
of the market share of eClass in the school market in Hong Kong.
The next move of eClass is the promotion of the solution to
the commercial sector and to the regional markets. |

7th IT Excellence Award : Product Gold Award |

| The IT Excellence Award is a
professional initiative of the Hong Kong Computer Society.
Since 1998, the award scheme has become an annual event
which brings significant recognition to excellent IT applications
and innovative IT technologies. The presentation ceremony
was held on October 19, 2005 and was officiated by Mr.
Francis Ho, JP, the Permanent Secretary for Commerce,
Industry and Technology, HK Government SAR. It was the
honour of BroadLearning to receive the prize presented
by Professor Lawrence J. Lau, the Vice-Chancellor of the
Chinese University of Hong Kong. Professor Lau remarked
eClass as an all-in-one educational solution in education.
